Lycoming 0-540 Complete Engine with McCauley Constant Speed propeller — These two items are now removed from the aircraft and are for sale individually. The engine comes complete with, near new Carby (about 200 hrs), Electric boost Pump, Magneto, Ignition Harness, and Induction tubes. The propeller is available with Backing Plate & Polished Prop Spinner.
Whilst the engine was operating on condition, (last overhaul 6 x new cylinder kits were fitted) the official inspections have shown the engine is still in good working condition, and I confirmed that every day I flew my aircraft. (Details available on request).
The engine before removal burned an average of one quart per 8 to 10 hours & has no oil leaks.
