Utility Air Adds Training Support Fleet to Portfolio

Sydney, April 15 2021 – Utility Air Pty Ltd ("Utility Air"), exclusive Distributor for Diamond Aircraft in the region, has announced that it has procured 5 DA20 and 8 DA42 aircraft for the support of Flight Training in the region.

The aircraft are currently on their way to the Diamond Factory in London Ontario, Canada where they will be fully refurbished under the Factory Certified Pre Owned Program. The Aircraft will have new engines, props, interiors and paint as well as having all time life items zeroed.

Utility Air's Managing Director, Stephen Pembro was effusive about the CPO Program. "These aircraft, when completed, will have the appearance and functionality of new aircraft at a significantly lower price. They will also be available sooner than new aircraft and pricing will fall midway between new and used." Pembro continued "One of the most important advantages of the CPO aircraft are their reduced carbon footprint. By effectively recycling an aircraft that has already been built to near new standards, the energy consumed in manufacture is already amortized."

The aircraft will then be made available to Flight Schools in the region for sale or lease, at preferential pricing.

John Oppenheim, Director of Utility Air, added "The past year has been challenging for flight schools. We have seen a lot of organisations which need new product be unable to justify the investment in these uncertain times. Being able to provide a state of the art training aircraft at either a low hourly acquisition cost or a low hourly rate should be a game changer for many of our customers."

The aircraft are expected to be ready for handover to new customers by the end of the third quarter 2021.
