It was the 20th design - and by far the most successful, by Al Mooney. The type received multiple improvements over a 70 year period, with sales, support and the next generation of aircraft in the pipeline today. This beautifully restored, low engine / prop time, fully-IFR M20F Executive 21 has been recently re-built from the ground up, with a long list of STC's including Model J windscreen, Laser Speed brake-wheel cylinder rotation, oil fed cam shaft, GAMI injectors, Power-flow exhaust, light-weight starter, Sure Fly electronic ignition, auto-up retract step (electric on Master-on), oil-fed cam shaft, cowl closure fairing, Bogert Aviation copper starter cable, Soundex sound insulation - and much more. The sale also comes with a spare parts M20E aircraft fuselage and many other parts (full estimated value TBC, approx. AUD$30,000).
