This stunning 1976 Rockwell Commander 114 will not disappoint with 3 blade prop conversion. These are fantastic touring aircraft with great space and a comfortable cabin. Recent tyres, paint and interior. Much money spent, great value and a must to see. Recently replaced all fuel drains, landing light upgraded to LED. The Rockwell Commander 114, introduced in 1976, is a single-engine, four-seat, low-wing aircraft with a 260-horsepower Lycoming IO-540 engine. It was developed originally by Rockwell Industries who were primarily a military contractor so it is made to military specifications. The 114A model is an improved version of the Commander 112. The 114, known for its comfortable cabin and touring capabilities, offers a cruise speed of about 145 knots. It is one of the easiest aircraft to land with trailing undercarriage linkages. The trailing link smooths out even the best efforts at dropping the 114A onto the runway. Range - 1,355 kms so can easily do Bankstown to Moorabbin in 3 hours with fuel left over
