The Arion Lightning has long been a popular choice with pilots who want a light sport aircraft that was not designed to be a basic trainer. The aerodynamically efficient two-seater with composite construction flies about as fast as a light sport aircraft can under current rules.
Cruises at 120 kts @ 2600 RPM. Consumes ~20 L/hr. 113L capacity. This is a lovely, classic Lightning and a joy to fly. Always hangared and covered. |
