BARN FIND - True Story! This unique aircraft was imported in 2012 by its original owner, who meticulously brought it to 80% completion. It was then stored in a hangar for a decade before I purchased it in 2023 with the goal of finishing it. However, I've since acquired another aircraft, so this one is now ready for a new home. The plane needs its interior finished and approximately 50% of the instrument wiring completed. It has been stored in a dry, inland environment and shows no external rust or corrosion. The engine heads have been inspected, and the cylinders are corrosion-free. This is a complete project from spinner to tail. The engine has never been run and is a late Gen 2 model based on its serial number. The prop is a zero-hour, wooden Sensenich. A licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (LAME) has overseen all recent work. The paint is in good condition and will polish up nicely. The tires and canopy (which still has its protective coating) also look good. At its current rate, the aircraft should be flying in December or January.
