The aircraft saw service during WW-II Battle of Britain for communication transport. At the conclusion of WW-II the military sold the aircraft where it became G-AHJ-V. It-was later ferried to Australia to become VH-BCX. The present-owner purchased the aircraft from Australia and commenced a complete ground up restoration lasting some 6 years.
