This aircraft was first listed the day before lockdown started and that made it impossible for anyone to visit so I took it down. But we seem to be coming out of lockdown now, so its back on. Toyed with selling my beloved RV before but couldn't do it, but now I have 2 other a/c it has to go. 200hp IO 360 that runs beautifully. Very much recommend the extra horsepower.. Constant speed prop. Has been used mostly for commuting from Byron to Dubbo which it does comfortably in about 2.15 mins at 27 litres per hour. A few gentle aeros. Other RV owners have commented that it feels beautifully balanced to fly. I didn't paint it but it has grown on me as it is fun and not like all the the other girls. It has character. Why I choose the RV7a over RV7? I also fly tail draggers and like them when the weather is fine. However when needing to launch or land without having to worry too much about crosswind or forecast Xwind at destination at the end of a long day, the RV7a is far easier. As i sometimes commute, I needed the least marginal option. Not saying a gusty 15 knot crosswind landings can't be done safely in a RV7, but they are just that bit more marginal which is why for me the RV7a made sense. Personal preference though. Cruise speed seems the same. Annual just done, 12 months left at the time of writing. Always hangared and kept under covers. Genuine buyers only please. Happy to negotiate but please don't low ball without even seeing it or offer to swap it for a boat or car etc. fyou don't have the finance please don't waste time. Just a simple transaction and fly away as there are not many 200hp RV7's around at the moment and this has no issues, low time and ready for a new owner. Located Tyaggarah (grass strip near Byron BAy) Can deliver within reason.
