Always hangared at Mittagong private Airfield this yak52 was Imported to Australia and completely refurbished in 2003. “Dracs Yak" has been a regular and popular formation display performer at airshows around Australia. Its distinctive camouflage paint scheme and unique nose art make it easily identifiable. Fully aerobatic with all neccassary spar mods completed enables +7g -5g unlimited aerobaticmanoeuvres. Regularly and properly maintained since 2003 the engine is currently on condition with good compressions at last annual service. Service records will show several engine cylinders have been overhauled since the 500 hour service life TBO. Trig radio and transponder replaced the original Russian radio and a Uavionix Av30 Multi function AI replaces the Russian attitude indicator.
All neccasary ancillary mods for ease of engine operation fitted. |
